How to create a sale in ScaleEdges

Display discounted prices automatically across your store and schedule when a sale starts and ends.

A sale automatically displays the original price with the discounted price on eligible products. Customers do not need to enter a code.

Create a sale

  1. Open Marketing → Promotions.
  2. In Sales, select + New sale.
  3. Enter an internal Sale name.
  4. Under Applies to, choose Entire store, One product, or One collection.
  5. Choose Percentage (%) or Fixed amount.
  6. Enter the discount value.
  7. Choose a start date and end date if the campaign is scheduled.
  8. Select Create sale.

Leave the start date empty to activate the sale immediately. Leave the end date empty to keep it active until you edit or delete it. When both dates are set, the end date must be after the start date.

Restrict who receives the sale price

Open Advanced options to configure:

  • an internal note hidden from customers;
  • specific allowed email addresses, one per line;
  • Any customer, First order only, or Must have ordered before.

Advanced options settings of the new sale pop up showing an internal note option, the restrictions to only some customers, and the restrictions to only some types of customers.

An email-restricted sale price is shown only when ScaleEdges recognizes a customer using an eligible address.

What customers see

During an active sale, eligible product cards, product pages, the cart, and checkout use the discounted price. The original price is shown as the previous price.

If several active sales apply to the same product, ScaleEdges uses the one that produces the lowest price. A sale is applied before an eligible post-purchase upsell discount.

Manage the sale

The Sales table displays the scope, period, discount, and current status:

  • Upcoming means its start date has not arrived;
  • Active means it currently applies;
  • Ended means its end date has passed.

Select Edit to change the campaign or Delete to remove it. Deleting a sale restores regular pricing unless another promotion still applies.
